How can a customized arrangement help?

Having a custom percussion arrangement or custom drumline score will help your students achieve specific goals, both as individuals and as an ensemble. By knowing the weaknesses, an arrangement can nuture shortcomings. By understanding strengths, the full potential of skills can be highlighted. The end result is challenging, yet achievable music.

Custom arrangments can also help with ensemble balance and blend. By analyzing the structure of both the percussion and the band, you can be in a better position to have each voice accounted for during performance. This is particularly important for a marching band frontline/pit.

How can we collaborate over large distances?

There's a few methods we can use to make sure that any expectations are understood and eventually met to your satisfaction.

Teleconferencing
A simple meeting via phone is a true standard. I have available 3-way calling if we need to conference with others. If it helps, we can arrange to have all of your calls be incoming so you avoid any long-distance charges.
Online Client Collaboration Area
Clients are given access to the private Wiki. A wiki is a collaboration tool where users can add or edit content pages as needed. During show design this tool can be invaluable to staff members. No more endless forwarded emails. Everyone is always on the same page.
Online Chat and File-sharing
For web-based meetings or for when we require an exchange of documents, I utilize a web application where we can chat and share files in a private setting. There's nothing to install. All that is needed is a web browser and a scheduled time. Again, no more endless forwarded emails.

How is a custom arrangement delivered?

Depending on what services have been contracted, you might receive one or more of the following:

Digital copies of scores and/or parts
Your PDF files arrive via email as soon as the writing is finished. No more waiting on the mail.
Audio of scores and/or parts
Listen to MP3 files of your customized score or distribute among your students as a learning resource.
Access to customized Client Page to download files
Don't worry about losing track of your files. Everything will be available online in a password protected area of this website. A separate login can also be created just for your students.

How much does it cost?

Each organization has unique needs and resources, so I try and keep my costs as fluid as possible. There's a contact form below if you'd like to discuss your project and how I can help achieve your progam's goals.

If you'd prefer to start with a simple estimate, just check "Quick Quote" box on the form and include any details about what services you require. An estimate will be returned as soon as possible (usually the next day).

Final costs will be detailed in a contract before any work begins.

How much of the total is overhead costs?

You pay only for my time and any deliverables. That's all.

If there's excessive travel involved then some reimbursement may be worked into the contract.

The management side of my business utilizes numerous free online services, so the overhead cost of the business is nearly zero. I don't even bother to factor it in to client costs.
